Absolutely. Nothing is set in stone. But you should leave the negotiations to your real estate professional. The worst thing that can happen is that you will not get a price reduction and you will have to make a decision if you would still like to pursue the deal.
An experienced Realtor will be able to assist you in your negotiations. A market analysis might give you the ammunition that you need to convince the developer to give you a price break. Maybe there is something that you can bring to the table other than price that is of interest to the developer, like a late or early closing, large down payment, multiple units or any other variable that we might be able to come up with.
