Is there a perfect time to list my property?

The perfect time is when you are ready. Have you found a replacement home. Is this a second home and you can sell whenever you like? There are always buyers just as there are always sellers. So there is no perfect time for selling your home only perfect preparation. If the home is ready to be shown to the public and the advertising plan hashed out I am ready to go and sell your home at any time.
There are circumstances when the market dictates that you move faster or have more time to contemplate the sale. In a down market time is working against you. The longer you wait the less your home will be worth. On the other-side in an up-market you have time to sell as prices are edging upwards and you can expect the value of your home to increase. So in the later situation is is more personal choice than market pressures that determine the time to sell. |
