What if I decide I want to change something in the contract?

All aspect of the contract are up for negotiation at all times. That does not imply that once a contract is executed that either party has to agree to alter the contract. But one can always try. There are special forms to amend or extend an existing contract, and the form becomes part of the original contract when executed. A common cause for using this form is if a deadline needs to be moved back a few days. Changes are best incorporated before the contract is mutually accepted. One the contract is in place it is hard or impossible to revisit major points of the agreement. |
